The situation
Between two audits…
Your Internet-facing services are scanned around the clock by attackers. Most SMEs only check once a year, through an audit billed at several thousand euros, with a fixed scope. One unpatched service or one port opened by mistake is all an attacker needs as a point of entry.
A large customer’s security questionnaire, a cyber insurance renewal, a NIS2 or ISO 27001 programme: you need to show regular monitoring. The timestamped scan history and the exports serve that purpose.
Vigiscan is meant for SMEs and mid-sized companies without a CISO, and for CISOs who monitor several entities. It analyses only what is publicly exposed, on targets you own or are authorised to scan. It does not replace a manual penetration test, fixes nothing on your behalf, and offers neither real-time monitoring nor SIEM or ticketing integration.
An inventory that is never current
Domains, subdomains and public IP addresses pile up: marketing projects, forgotten test environments, providers. Nobody knows exactly what is exposed any more.
A pentest describes one moment
The yearly penetration test gives the state on one given day. It is out of date as soon as the next release goes live.
Unreadable reports
The output of technical scanners takes expertise to read and to rank. It ends up in a folder, with no follow-up.
Launch
One target, one objective, one frequency
- A domain, a subdomain or a public IP address. Nothing to install, no access to provide.
- Two levels of analysis: mapping what is exposed (Discovery) or detecting vulnerabilities (Full and Fast).
- A one-off scan, or a recurring one at the frequency of your choice, from daily to yearly.
- Before every launch, you certify that you own the target or are authorised to analyse it.
Reports
A report graded A to E, with its remediation plan
- The executive summary gives the A to E grade, a score out of 10 and the breakdown of vulnerabilities by severity. Vulnerability detection is included in the trial and the Professional plan.
- Each vulnerability is detailed with the service concerned, the associated CVEs and its remediation, in a plan ranked by priority.
- PDF and Excel export, for your committees, your customers or your insurer.
Trend
The effect of remediations, scan after scan
- Target by target, you track how the score and the number of vulnerabilities by severity evolve, scan after scan.
- Each organisation keeps the history of its targets and scans.
- A rising score and fewer critical vulnerabilities: an indicator to present to an executive committee, a customer or an insurer.
Customers and open access
From the Make IT Safe platform or in open access
Make IT Safe platform customer
You sign in with your usual credentials. The organisations in your ecosystem, subsidiaries and providers, are pulled automatically from the platform: you choose the entities to include, launch your scans and compare results from one entity to the next. The scanner’s price is agreed with your sales contact, with no online payment.
Open access
You create an account with a business email address and analyse your first targets. After the 14-day trial, you choose a monthly plan, paid by card in the application. Plan changes are prorated, you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.
